ROLE
TheFinance Managerwill play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and driving efficiencies within the team. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong understanding of SME finance functions and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the small transactional finance team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights to the senior leadership team.
- Support year-end processes, including audit preparation.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
PERSON
We are seeking an experienced finance professional with a proven track record in an SME environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on financial management skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Key Attributes:
- Strong experience in SME finance roles, including transactional finance and management accounts.
- Part-qualified, AAT qualified, or qualified by experience full qualification not required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and confident with Excel.
